My first choice in creating this look was the daybed in its natural wicker colour and navy cushion on top. I think a lot of people doing this on their own would go for red or pink. Love that but this makes it Moroccan with a modern twist. Once you have a main piece like this, the rest is icing on the Moroccan cake!

ADD CUSHIONS WITH DETAILS

Adding the natural colour cushions shows how vibrant the blue is and marries the two surfaces above and below. Love the pompoms on the cushions, a nice touch for this theme. These are all outdoor fabrics.

WICKER BASKET PIECES

Also,notice the beautiful wicker baskets that can help with storing towels and magazines.

WOOD DETAILS

Notice the detailing on the wood coffee table. The roundness of the coffee table softens the daybed lines.

The umbrella is the same beautiful navy highlighted by the scalloped edges. The detailing adds more interest.

SOFT GLOW AT NIGHT

The pendant light gives off a soft glow and allows the light coming through to cast patterns on the surrounding surfaces with its glow. This will be beautiful at night.

ALWAYS NEED AN INTERESTING ACCENT CHAIR

The chair shows off the navy and completes the theme. It also creates a feel of mystery.

A CARPET IS REQUIRED

The grounding feature is the Moroccan inspired, natural coloured rug with a blue trim and fringed edges.
